Beautiful Tasmanian Whisky
Because of the price this is one for the “occasional” shelf, to savour as an after dinner treat in front of the fire. And the cask strength means that one generous dram goes a long way. I drink it with lots of ice and experience it opening up over the course of an hour or so as the ice melts.
I love Tasmanian Whisky and to me this is in the big league along with my other favourites by Lark and McHenry.
It is clean and crisp with a ton of complexity and surprising flavours. The Sherry oak flavour is prominent, by design. Plenty of smooth sweetness there.
