The Arran Distillery is the only remaining distillery on the Isle of Arran which was once home to as many as fifty. This 18-Year-Old Single Malt first appeared in 2015 as a limited edition release. Such was the reception that it has now been added to their core range.
The Arran Distillery has been rewarded with gold medals at the 2018 International Wine & Spirits Competition and the 2019 World Whisky Awards. Whisky lovers have been rewarded with a single malt that is complex, rich, and sweet.
This single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks bringing a sweetness and spiciness that offers something new with every sip. There is no chill-filtration and no artificial colouring used. This is island whisky as it was meant to be; beautifully balanced and with a remarkable depth of flavor.

Brown sugar, vanilla, and boiled sweets blended with apple and citrus fruits. Underneath everything is a gentle spiciness with cinnamon and toasted almonds. Superb.
A indulgent sweetness imploding on the tongue packed with caramalized brown sugar, honey, and rich dark chocolate. A soft spiciness with cinnamon, orange zest, and floral notes is also present and comes more to the fore with a splash of water.
Long and luxurious. Citrus fruits remain interspersed rich coffee, chocolate and a little salinity from this coastal location.
