The Brabazon Bottling Series is a limited edition collection of unique Irish Single Malts capturing the full impact and flavour crafted through fortified wine cask maturation. Series No. 1 focuses on sherry cask maturation and consists of a range of carefully selected sherry cask aged whiskeys producing a full flavoured sherry influenced Irish Single Malt.

More Details

The first release in Teeling's Brabazon Bottling range, which will explore the impact that fortified wine casks have on the flavour profile of Irish whiskey. This initial bottling features whiskey drawn from six Sherry casks, resulting in big ol' bundles Sherried deliciousness.

Tasting notes

Nose

Sherry sweetness, strawberry shortcake, vanilla, hazelnuts, toffee, dried dark fruit and hints of marzipan. All followed with a huge hit of chocolate.

Taste

Very sweet and malty, lots of berry flavours, pineapple and toffee now. Roasted nuts, a touch of burnt chocolate and leather in the background.

Finish

Lingering, spicy with more rich oak and heavily infused black tea. Definitely moreish.
