A gin with a powerful sense of place. Applewood are not only passionate about celebrating the flavours of Australia, but about sourcing their native botanicals ethically and sustainably. This gin is centred around hero ingredients of desert lime, wattleseed and peppermint gum leaf, alongside 20 other ingredients. The final result is a complex and well balanced gin that reflects the unique qualities of the South Australian environment.

Applewood Distillery make their spirits in concordance with the unique Australian environment. Sustainability is extremely important to the gin-makers, who are found in the town of Gumeracha, a small settlement of some 700 people in the Adelaide Hills.
Applewood use some of the rarest produce in the world to create their gin, being careful to ensure that native ingredients are respectfully and sustainably sourced. This is the flagship offering, a delicious, thoroughly Australian gin that is a real statement of intent.

Tasting notes
Nose
Delicate, with a beautiful, perfumed juniper aroma, featuring woody notes of pine and cedar. Eucalyptus and mint offer a burst of freshness, before some lime rind brings earthy depth.
Taste
A taste sensation with heaps of complexity. Much more powerful than the nose would suggest, with intense juniper, more fresh mint, uplifting citrus rind and warming, earthy coriander.
