Aromas of freshly baked rye bread, hot cinnamon buns and dark chocolate barley first take hold, later joined by rich red wine, a touch of orange rind and fruits of the forest compote.
A medium bodied mouthfeel is reminiscent of a 1980s style cream soda. Served with a side of toasted dark rye bread, slathered with butter, raspberry jam and hints of baking spice.
Quite long, with classic rye spices drying out on the finish. Think powdered ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.
