This glorious cask-strength whiskey is a small batch release by Barrell Craft Spirits and highlights the opulence and fragrant spice of rye whiskey accentuated through bespoke cask maturation. With proceeds aiding the Ocean Foundation and seagrass restoration, it is a blend of North American rye whiskies aged in a unique combination of Martinique Agricole Rhum casks, apricot brandy barrels, and Madeira hogsheads.

Tasting notes
Nose
Initial bright aromas of fruity esters, ripe apricot and hints of banana and passionfruit with an emerging savoury and herbaceous spice.
Taste
An intense mouthfeel reveals tropical fruit notes of grilled pineapple, dried apricot, orange oils with hints of oxidised wine.
Finish
A long lasting finish with recurring flavours of stone fruit, marzipan, sweet tobacco, astringent citrus and subtle bitter oak.
