One of Scotland’s newest and smallest single malt distilleries, Daftmill Distillery is curiously named after the geographic optical illusion that the stream which powers the mill flows uphill and hence ‘daft’. Made from barley grown on the farm and water from their own deep spring, this Summer 2009 Release was bottled in 2020, from a combination of ex-Bourbon barrel and a first fill Sherry butt matured whisky.
