This richly flavoured single cask, limited batch release, is the result of an international approach to making small batch whisky. Selected casks of Penderyn Welsh Single Malt whisky are matured for five years in ex-Bourbon barrels and then finished in bespoke Ratafia Champenois casks for a period of 27 months in the ageing cellars at Champagne Dumangin in France, creating a symphony of complexity.

Tasting notes
Nose
Luscious and sweet aromas of fresh orchard fruit, apples and pears, revealing deeper aromas of raisins, cacao, hazelnut and hints of rancio.
Taste
A bold, medium bodied palate reveals sweet flavours of dried cranberry, dates, walnut praline, vanilla toasted oak and oxidised wine.
Finish
A long lasting finish with sweet malty flavours recurring and evolving into astringent oak and fortified wine.
