The Glencadam Distillery has a long and storied history of producing a sought after malt whisky during the blended Scotch boom, only to go silent a number of times, before being revived by the current owners, who have been producing whisky there since 2003. This 15 Year Old was distilled in 2006 and matured in ex-Bourbon barrels, before being finished in freshly seasoned White Port casks for two years.

Tasting notes
Nose
Bright and sweet aromas of raspberry coulis, red currant jelly, hints of cooked rhubarb in syrup and tangerine peel.
Taste
Light and delicate tastes of tart strawberry, fresh fruit salad, then hints of dried apricot and raisins with growing oaky astringency.
Finish
Medium length finish with drying fruit notes lingering and evolving into hints of toasted oak and oxidised fortified wine.
