Since 1895, Gordon & MacPhail are distinguished as trusted, respected guardians of new-make spirit from over 100 different Scottish distilleries. They are experts in the meticulous selection and seasoning of Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, and the sourcing of ex-bourbon casks from North America. This expression is a new-make from Linkwood, distilled in 1994, and aged in a refill sherry butt for 26 years.

Tasting notes
Nose
A true sherry bomb on the nose, dried red fruits are supported with a hint of spice with a slight tannic sweetness.
Taste
As expected, classic stewed red berries develop into cinnamon spice intertwined with vanilla oak from the extended time in the cask.
Finish
Surprisingly medium- bodied considering the age, finishes with tannic red wine and autumn spices.
