While most Rye Whiskey you’ll find in stores these days hover around the legal limited of Rye in their mashbill (51-53%) the High West Distillery’s flagship Rendezvous Rye is a blend of two straight rye whiskies each with a very high Rye mash bill.
The first is an 6-Year-Old with 95% rye in the mashbill, while the second is a very rare 16-Year-Old with 80% Rye in the mashbill. This is a whiskey for the Rye purists!

Tasting notes
Nose
A gassy aroma greets the nose, accompanied by the enticing scents of thyme, herbal sage, and delicate lavender. The nose is further elevated as it intertwines with caramel, vanilla, and oak notes.
Taste
Cinnamon-spiced apples and butter scotch meet roasted marshmallow. Complexity emerges with notes of black tea and mint. A well-balanced rye whiskey experience.
Finish
Full-bodied with a touch of light oak. Cocoa and cinnamon linger, enhancing the complexity. A satisfyingly long finish with hints of pine, orange, and cranberry.
