A superb expression from Islay's Farm Distillery. This has been aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and former Sherry casks. The whisky can be seen as the reverse of Kilchoman's flagship Machir Bay bottling – which is matured in mostly Bourbon cask with a touch of Sherry. Sanaig has been aged in 70% Sherry casks and 30% Bourbon barrels, ensuring a profile of sweet oak and smoked fruits.
