Victoria’s Kinglake Distillery have created another uncompromising flavour bomb with the recent release of their signature O’Grady’s Stand ex-Bourbon cask matured, as a ‘Full Noise’ expression of raw cask-strength Single Malt. Made from NSW grown barley malt and a peated malt from Scotland, the spirit was aged for over two years in 50 litre ex-Bourbon barrels, producing this powerful and heady dram.

Tasting notes
Nose
Powerful aromas of sweet orchard fruit, red apples and pears, lemon zest, hints of toffee and cacao over an underlying woody spice.
Taste
A huge release of full-bodied flavours of malted barley, toffee apple, vanilla oak and hints of dark chocolate with growing peppery spice.
Finish
A long and powerful finish with recurring notes of dried fruit, bittersweet toffee, lingering spicy oak and a whisper of smoke trailing off.
