This release was distilled in 2005 and then bottled in 2020 as a part of the beloved Distillers Edition series, making this single malt approximately 15 years old. What makes this Lagavulin unique is a finishing period in sticky, sweet Pedro Ximinez Sherry casks. A delicious, flavoursome dram that expertly balances smoke with rich, raisiny sweetness.
