A cracking limited edition Lark single malt, from their Bothwell distillery. This bottling has been matured in a wide array of cask varieties, including: Port, Sherry, Bourbon, White Oak and Wine. The spirit was then finished in Pinot Noir fortified wine casks from Tasmania’s esteemed Frogmore Creek winery. The final product? A dizzyingly delicious dram, packed with character.

Frogmore Creek winery is found just a few minutes drive from Lark’s Coal River distillery, making this partnership one of local collaboration!
Despite being the oldest distillery in Tasmania, and the first to kickstart the Australian whisky renaissance, Lark has proven itself capable of experimentation and innovation time after time. This is especially true of their Limited Edition releases, such as this bottling, which have an enviable reputation as some of the best Aussie drams around.

Tasting notes
Nose
Remarkably springlike and fresh, with clean aromas of summer berries, forest floor, freshly shaved oak, bright red wine and soft garden flowers.
Taste
Faithful to the nose, with vivid flavours of raspberry, red grapes, sultanas, strawberries and cream, honeysuckle, jasmine tea, maple syrup and macadamia gelato.
Finish
Long, with the fruits of the nose and taste turning dried here: sultanas, dried cranberries and wine tannins feature, alongside a lingering orange rind and floral honey note.
