Sustainability at Manly Spirits takes several forms – including sending spent grain from their whisky to local Aussie farmers, and sourcing ingredients and botanicals for gin sustainably. This single malt whisky from the Sydney distillery has been matured in Sangiovese wine casks, creating a fruity and flavourful dram.

Tasting notes
Nose
The wine cask is immediately apparent, with waves of red grapes and sour cherry lollies joined by malty sweetness and toffee.
Taste
The red plum, strawberry and cherry notes associated with Sangiovese are apparent, as are garden herbs, oak tannins, marmalade and subtle leather.
Finish
Medium long, featuring resurgent maltiness, more red fruits, subtle cinnamon and pepper spice, vanilla and dark chocolate.
