This is an excellent single malt from the team at Michel Couvreur. Their whiskies are shipped from Scotland to Bergundy to be matured in its Sherry oak casks. They firmly believe oak plays the most instrumental role in a whisky’s flavour, favouring Sherry oak casks. This is exemplified with a delightful and surprising floral essence, perhaps the reason for the ‘blossoming’ in the product name
