The Candid Malt Whisky by Michel Couvreur is a blend of Single Malt Scotch whiskies which have been aged in the MC Maturation Cellars in Burgundy, France. For this expression, whiskies distilled in 2006 and aged in ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, were married together to create a whisky with robust dried fruit and nut flavours and a delicious whisper of smoke running through it.

Tasting notes
Nose
Deep and restrained aromas of raisins and prunes, soft integrated oak, dark chocolate and a whisper of peaty smoke.
Taste
A deeply textured, full-bodied mouthfeel reveals dried fruit and raisins from the sweet Sherry cask, toasted nuts and nutmeg spice.
Finish
A long and mellow finish with undulating notes of nutty dryness, vanilla oaky spice and an oily texture that coats the mouth.
