A pronounced nose, with a strong sherry influence. This Single Malt shows a moderately malty beginning, with strong sherry influence and a satisfying lemon cake flavour coming through with the slightest smoke rounding out the nose.
The palate is extremely satisfying. It’s not too sweet, mildly dry throughout, with hints of spices, rum & raisins, charred fruits, and a silky cream throughout.
The finish is medium, and the mouthfeel is splendid which makes up for a slightly abrupt finish. This single malt has a lot going for it.
