The signature Australian single malt whisky from Rutherglen's Morris, who have been a leading name in Australian fortified wine since their inception in 1859. This dram has been matured in shaved and toasted former red wine barrels before being finished in an array of Morris' very own fortified wine casks. This finish in some of the world’s finest fortified wine barrels delivers an unparalleled depth of flavour.
More Details
Established in 1859, the Morris family winery is one of Australia's most acclaimed fortified producers. Craftsmanship in blending, ageing and creating world-class fortified wine has been passed down through six generations of the family, giving unparalleled access to the very best barrels in the biz - casks which have held some of the world’s most highly awarded fortified wines.
In 2016, the distillery was built around the original copper still assembled in the 1930s and brought to the Morris winery in 1941. A veritable smorgasbord of industry heavyweights were employed to expertly craft the Morris Single Malt style including the "Einstein of Whisky" Dr Jim Swan, Master Distiller John McDougall (formerly of Balvenie, Laphroaig and Springbank) and current Head Distiller Darren Peck (ex-Diageo).
Today, they combine decades of tradition with contemporary techniques to create a whisky that is a true expression of time and place.

Tasting notes
Nose
A wonderfully rounded nose that balances sweet, floral, biscuity aromas. Prominent scents of marzipan and delicate vanilla with golden syrup.
Taste
Medium-bodied with a luscious mouthfeel. Comprising of sweet toasted cereals, chocolate-malt biscuits, dark berries and rich chewy caramel.
Finish
A moreish finish, medium in length, with more chewy caramel, dried dark fruits and spiced toasted oak.
