The guys at NED seriously committed to experimentation when they created the Green Sash Whisky. Selecting some of their best barrels of NED, they harvested the aged liquid over large pieces of oak, resulting in even more flavour, character, and complexity development in their highly underrated spirit.

Tasting notes
Nose
Very reminiscent of some younger bourbons, notes of vanilla and sweet oak are super-charged thanks to that quick hit of extra oak contact.
Taste
The wood notes become deeper on the palate, the vanilla is still at the forefront while a slash of citrus balances the sweetness.
Finish
Lots of vanilla to finish while the citrus and sweetness continue to develop and turn towards a slight bitterness.
