The team over at Poor Tom’s has created something special with this Pina Colada Gin. They have somehow managed to remove the sweetness usually associated with its cocktail namesake and replace it with the dry bitterness of juniper with spectacular results! This is still a “real” gin and the bold juniper balances the coconut and pineapple flavour beautifully.

Tasting notes
Nose
Piney juniper is replaced by obvious tropical notes of pineapple and pandan, there’s a slight citrus note too.
Taste
Smooth on the palate when tasted neat, the juniper isn’t overpowered by the coconut or pineapple. There’s a developing spice for the finish.
