Four Pillars may have been the pioneers of the shiraz gin craze with their cool-climate Yarra Valley grapes, but Seppeltsfield Road Distillers have taken it up a flavour notch with big, bold Barossa shiraz grapes.
Seppeltsfield Road Distillers is a craft distillery which opened in July 2018. Located on the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley, Seppeltsfield Road Distillers has a strong commitment to provenance, using Barossa distilled Neutral Grape Spirit and local botanicals where possible.

Tasting notes
Nose
A massive burst of juicy, ripe black cherries and rich red plums. Backed up with bags of baking spices and orange peels with a buttery note reminiscent of fresh hot cross buns.
Taste
Still fruity on the palate but a little more subdued - prunes, dates and raisins with candied orange peels. Pine, baking spice and an interesting herbaceous sage note come through more on the finish.
