Slyrs Pedro Ximénez Finish Single Malt Whisky is a prime example of traditional Bavarian distilling at the prestigious Slyrs Distillery near the picturesque Lake Schliersee in Upper Bavaria. Founded by Florian Stetter in 1999, the distillery has undergone significant development, combining age-old practices with contemporary methods. Influenced by a trip to Scotland, Stetter aimed to produce a Bavarian whisky that could rival the best, initially at the Lantenhammer Distillery. In 2007, the distillery relocated to a specialized facility in Neuhaus, equipped with cutting-edge technology, ushering in a new era of exceptional quality and consistency. Under the guidance of production manager Hans Kemenater, Slyrs has become a leading force of excellence and innovation in the German whisky industry. Using locally-sourced barley malt from Bamberg and pristine water from the nearby Bannwaldquelle, their unpeated single malt whisky truly embodies the essence of its origins.
