This new blend, the brain child of Master Distiller Kenji Watanabe, uses 100% aged malt whiskies. Once the double copper pot distillation and blending processes are complete, they age Tenjaku Pure Malt in heavily used bourbon barrels for up to six years. Tenjaku Pure Malt boasts a rich flavour with a slightly nutty taste with hints of green apples and herbs. It’s true that variety is the spice of life!

Tasting notes
Nose
Tantalising aromas of fresh grain, warm banana bread with plump raisins and toasted walnuts. Burnt sugar and subtle wood.
Taste
Smooth and subtle. Honey-drizzled apples, zesty smoked peppercorns, pimiento and earthy marinated mushrooms.
Finish
Sweet banana nougat and caramel flavours dominate, with leather and toasted grain and a herbaceous kick to finish.
