With heritage dating back to 1839, The Dalmore Distillery has developed a reputation as having deeply flavoured whiskies, resulting from the extensive use of fortified wine casks, including Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry butts, sourced from famed producers in Spain. For the Sherry Cask Select, they collaborated with three Sherry producers to create bespoke seasoned casks for a further two year finishing maturation.

Tasting notes
Nose
Deep and luscious aromas of candied ginger, orange oils, warm sultanas and hints of fruit and nut Cadbury chocolate.
Taste
Rich sweet flavours of prunes, dates and raisins with dry nutty hints of walnut and roasted almond praline, becoming chocolatey.
Finish
A long finish that resounds with recurring notes of chocolate malty sweetness, moving to drying hints of cinnamon and vanilla oak.
