Most of the gins from Bellarine Distillery are cheekily named after the resident distillery pooches and their adventures on the 7-acre property in greater Geelong. Trooper may be a little wobbly at 13 years old, but he sure gave the Roo a run for its money! Roasted Wattleseed is the hero botanical in this gin, supported by raw cacao and almonds. This expression is a masterclass on what Wattleseed as a botanical brings to gin - a creamy, rich mouthfeel and chocolate-coffee-nutty notes.

The very first distillery to be located on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula, Bellarine Distillery have reaped the rewards of their location, foraging plentiful local botanicals for use in their gins.
This bottling places a great emphasis on Aussie native ingredients, with wattleseed providing much of the flavour. Each gin at Bellarine is produced with care in very small batches, ensuring a high quality array of delicious spirits.

Tasting notes
Nose
Light and elegant on the nose, with a pinch of floral pink grapefruit and fresh lemon zest. There’s a touch of lightly toasted woody juniper too, bolstered by fresh hazelnuts and marzipan.
Taste
A beautifully full-bodied mouthfeel, featuring rich notes that are uncommon in gin - toasted almonds, cacao nibs and light espresso. A touch of pine-forward Juniper brings balance and freshness.
