This cask strength dram is a blend of single malt and single pot still whiskies that have been triple distilled in the time-honoured Irish style, before being bottled at a robust 53% ABV by the Walsh Whiskey company.

Tasting notes
Nose
An inviting nose, which opens with rich caramelised barley and malt, candied stem ginger, peaches, cracked black pepper and buttered toast.
Taste
Another heaping serving of sweet malt, alongside cloves, cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon, crunchy green apples, and butterscotch.
Finish
Oakier here, with a long finish bringing cracked black pepper, cigar box, waxy citrus rind and rich vanilla custard.
