The spirit starts its life out as Scotch (distilled, and sometimes aged in Scotland), before being shipped to Michel Couvreurs custom-built “cave” in the world famous wine region, Burgundy. There it is re-casked and further aged to create a uniquely French whisky with some of the best fortified wine casks on the planet. The unique combines Scottish and Irish traditional methods, with Michel Couvreurs signature techniques to create one of the most “Unique” and delicious whiskies in the world.
