Nothing to do with explosives or firearms, despite the name! This gin is actually inspired and flavoured by Chinese gunpowder tea. This high quality style of tea sees the leaves rolled into small pellets, recalling the appearance of gunpowder grains. The gin itself is flavoured with Irish botanicals such as meadowsweet, and an array of traditional gin ingredients including juniper, angelica, orris, caraway, coriander and cardamom. A selection of Asian citrus fruit and the aforementioned tea add depth.
