Founded in Bardstown, Kentucky in 1935 by the Shapira family, the Heaven Hill Distillery has remained family-owned since its establishment. Their portfolio of whisky brands includes Heaven Hill, Henry McKenna, Bernheim Original and Rittenhouse Rye. The Heaven Hill Distillery has many accolades to its name including 30x Best Whiskey winner, 7x Distiller of the year and the only distillery whose Bourbons have won gold in Best in Show Whisky.
The particularly successful Bernheim Original Wheat Whisky aged 7 years has claimed the Double Gold in 2019, the Wheat of the Year in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible in 2018, and the Gold in 2017 at the World Spirits Competition. This expression is bright amber and will leave mildly sweet hints of toffee, berries & spice. It finishes with toasted oak, perfect for a dessert delight.
