A relatively recent arrival on the scene, Kilchoman was only founded in 2005, and remains a family run operation. Known as “Islay’s Farm Distillery”, Kilchoman uses barley grown on their own farm, and malted on site. This particular bottling, their signature, is named after a nearby beach and has been aged largely in Bourbon casks, with a touch of Sherry for complexity.
