Scapa Distillery is situated on the Isles of Orkney in the Scotland Highlands and was founded in 1885. The climate means the distillery has endless access to the natural waterways which fills the locks. Water from the Orquil Springs is used for mashing. The climate also results in less spirit being lost due to evaporation, making Scapa Distillery a prime distillery for producing whisky. In addition to the Scapa Range, Scapa Skiren, is a honeyed single malt matured in exclusive American oak casks creating the honey and vanilla notes of the dram.
The expression will leave tastes of honeydew melon slices, bursts of pear and lemon sherbet. The lingering taste will be long and refreshing, sprinkled with shimmering sweetness tones.
