The Warenghem distillery is located in Lannion on the north coast of Brittany in France has been family-run for over 100 years. The distillery strives to maintain its integrity of traditional know-how while seeking perfection and excellence in all of its products and development. The Warenghem Distillery released their first blend, Whiskey Breton in 1987. This started their journey to receiving a long list of accolades for their expressions. In 2013, the Armorik Double Maturation voted "Best European Single Malt" at the World Whiskeys Awards. It then received double gold in 2014 at the San Fransisco World Spirits Competition.
This international recognition of the Armorik range, including the other editions; Classic and Sherry, allows for the single malt to be exported globally. The Amorik is symbolic of the Warenghem distillery and highlights the quality and know-how of the craftsmen. It is aged in unique oak barrels and is transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for finishing.
