A blend of both pot and column still rums from the historic Appleton Estate in the heart of Jamaica. The spirit in this expression has aged for between 12 to 18 years in ex-Bourbon barrels, enriched with oak chips for extra toastiness.
Jamaican rum is one of the spirit’s iconic styles. Known for its heavy mouthfeel and “funky” molasses flavours, created by long fermentations in “dunder pits” and mostly pot still distillation, Jamaican rum is incredibly characterful

Tasting notes
Nose
At first, a wave of dried fruits: figs, apricot and raisins, followed by mangos and pineapples, some banana and intense oak aromas.
Taste
Medium in body. Thick treacle and brown sugar give way to foam banana lollies, toffee, all spice, tannic oak and bittersweet orange rind.
