Aultmore’s spirit has historically been ringfenced for blending purposes, particularly for Dewar’s. These days, we’re able to enjoy this intriguing spirit as a single malt. Small stills and long fermentation produces a fragrant, yet muscular new make. This 12 year old has largely been aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, with a small amount of former Sherry casks used to add character.
