A single barrel bourbon, barrel code Z2D2, from renowned independent blender, Barrel Craft. This extraordinary bourbon was carefully aged for 5 years in American oak casks and was bottled in April 2022 at cask strength and non-chill filtered. As this was a single barrel release, only 200 bottles found their way to Australian shores! We can’t imagine there’s much of this fantastic juice left on bar shelves.

Tasting notes
Nose
Enticing aromas of brown sugar develop into classic cask vanilla with a touch of cinnamon creeping in towards the end.
Taste
That cinnamon packs a punch once sipped. As that fades, notes of wood, toasted pecans and apple emerge before a return of the cinnamon.
Finish
Long and dry with cinnamon continuing to be at the forefront with backup from the oak.
