The malts of the “Flora & Fauna” series are bottlings from lesser-known distilleries of whisky behemoths Diageo. This often-overlooked distillery lies under the shadow of its namesake mountain, the tallest peak in Speyside. Until 2007, Benrinnes Distillery maintained a complex partial triple distillation process that produced a meaty, weighty spirit. This dram is then matured mainly in sherry casks, resulting in the perfect blend of malt and barrel influence.
