This outstanding drop is a marriage of whiskies whose vintages range from 1989 to 1990, matured in just two casks, a hogshead and sherry butt, which yielded a total of 560 bottles. This rare whisky offers a variety of rich fruit and sweet notes entwined with a woody, spiced finish.

Tasting notes
Nose
Blackcurrants, raisins, and sticky dates. Plum, maraschino with glacé cherries. Malt loaf, dark chocolate, and a hint of Pedro Ximénez sherry.
Taste
Raisins, charcoal and stewed plums, sour and sweet cherries, molasses, and soft oaky spice. Ginger and chocolate are countered by rich earth.
Finish
Polished oak and fruity jam fade to leave nutmeg, allspice, brown sugar, and a touch of tar.
