Puni Distillery
Established in 2010 and located in the heart of the Alps, also known as the "Italian Highlands", Puni Distillery has always been an ideal place for producing whisky due to its alpine waterways. Puni Distillery was named after the local river, Puni, which flows through the Venosta Valley through the middle of the Alps. Puni Distillery produces a small range of expressions.
The Italian Malt Whisky Core Range is typically matured in Ex-Bourbon casks. Each expression has its unique finishing technique, ranging from casks in Sicily & Spain to casks from the Isle of Islay in Scotland. The award-winning Puni Alba is matured first in casks from Sicily and finished off in hand-selected casks from Islay, giving the balance of dark fruit and plum but with the finishes with the distinctive smoky flavours from Islay.
