Known as the 'Beast of Dufftown', Mortlach is one of the most characterful and unique whiskies in Speyside.
Spirit here is distilled 2.81 times, including in a run in 'The Wee Witchie' – a tiny pot still, and the smallest of Mortlach's 6. This is said to produce the distillery's beastly spirit: known for its weighty character and muscular malt.
Shines when matured in Sherry casks.
