This hand-crafted rye whiskey from Kings County Distillery, New York’s premier distiller, founded 2010 and located in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. They make small-batch Bourbon, Single Malt and an annual rye whiskey, using New York grown grains and peated and unpeated barley malt from the UK. The Empire Rye uses 80% rye and 20% malted barley, copper pot distilled and aged for at least two years.

Nose
Inviting aromas of sweet grain, buttered rye toast, apple pie, notes of oak char, baking spices, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Taste
Big and bold flavours of toasted grain, sweet barley and spicy rye bread , hints of sweet tobacco and passion fruit iced tea.
Finish
Lovely and lengthy recurring flavours of oak char, vanilla, hazelnut praline, candied ginger and tobacco spice.
