The very first bottling in Lark’s Rare Cask series, this single malt whisky has been aged in 50 year old vintage Tawny fortified wine casks from the Seppeltsfield winery in the Barossa Valley. The final product is a juicy, full bodied whisky that celebrates the unique qualities of this barrel variety.

Given the rarity of this whisky, Lark have made a special accommodation for the avid whisky collectors out there. Each full size bottle comes with an additional sidecar 100ml tasting bottle, meaning that curious drinkers can try the spirit, without opening the full scale bottle that they might want to keep in reserve.

The dark fruits of the nose return, accompanied by fresh Tassie apples, old oak and malty pastry. Treacle, salted caramel and spiced marmalade provide depth.
