The Shiraz Cask is the fourth expression released under the Element Series by Coastal Stone Whisky. Distilled and matured on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and laid down to mature in ex-Barossa Valley Shiraz wine casks during their first year of distilling, this whisky has had time to develop some beautiful and complex varietal characters of dark fruit and pepper spice, as it breathed in the coastal marine air.

Tasting notes
Nose
Warm and inviting aromas of salted caramel and malted barley sweetness, with hints of black pepper and dark berries.
Taste
Light and delicate mouthfeel, with initially sweet notes of toasted oak and toffee, moving to dried fruit, cinnamon and spice.
Finish
A long and supple finish with recurring notes of red wine seasoned oak, dark cherry, vanilla, sea salt and cracked black pepper.
