A small scale distillery with a wonderful sense of place. Josh Walker, the distillery’s founder and head distiller, grew up locally in the area. After travelling the world to learn all he could about distilling, Josh returned to his roots, and purchased a distillery in Timboon.
Alongside his wife and family, Josh continues to operate the stills 6 days a week, producing high quality Australian single malt. A country boy at heart, he also keeps a small herd of Black Angus cows.
This expression perfectly captures what Timboon are about – delicious whisky, with a strong connection to the local area.

Rich caramelised muscovado sugar and vanilla marshmallow sweetness. Later, some fruity and nutty notes develop, with sweet prunes and honeyed macadamias.
An unusual fruity mix of tinned peaches and rich raisins. Leathery, with slightly smoky undertones rounded out by butterscotch sweetness. A pleasant buttery texture.
Medium length and full-bodied, fruity notes remain on the palate, with this dram’s sweetness drying out quickly into tannic, oaky spice.
