Old Kempton Distillery
Established in 2012 by Amelia Hope, Bill and Lyn Lark, and James Reid, Old Kempton Distillery is situated in Kempton, Australia. Renowned for its commitment to quality, the distillery produces a limited quantity of 300 bottles per batch of single malt whisky. The distillery uses Tasmanian barley and water, resulting in a smooth profile featuring notes of caramel and spice. Beyond crafting award-winning spirits, the distillery also runs a training school, providing aspiring distillers with the skills to contribute to the flourishing distillery scene across Tasmania. Noteworthy achievements include their Ex Pinot cask and Ex Port Casks, which have secured victories in the World Whisky Awards for the past three consecutive years.
