Tobermory Distillery
Located on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, this artisan distiller was established in 1798 as The Isle of Mull’s only whisky distillery and one of the oldest commercial distilleries in Scotland. The Tobermory Distillery puts a big emphasis on creativity nature. The Tobermory Distillery produces two distinct single malts; a non-peated and a heavily-peated Ledaig.
The distinct difference is in the malted barley used, all other methods of distilling remain the same. The 10-year-old Ledaig is Tobermory’s signature smoky expression. It brings sweet smokiness with medicinal flavours infused with spicy pepper and dried fruits. The finish is a burst of sweet liquorice and a lingering saltiness.
