In 1843, the Glenmorangie Distillery was founded by William Matheson in the Scottish Highlands. The award winning single malt distiller pursues an uncompromised level of quality and creativity in all their expressions. Their innate strive for perfection is reflected in their process of only using their finest oak casks twice, ensuring that the maximum amount of flavour is always extracted during the maturation phase, delivering an all rounded, smoother taste. The Glenmorangie single malts are acclaimed for their exceptional smoothness, richness and complexity. The Original expression has seen silver in the International Wine & Sprit Competition, International Whisky Competition, International Whisky Challenge and gold in 2018 San Fransisco World Spirits Competition. The ten-year-old single malt draws the perfect balance between sweetness and complexity, derived from a combination of American white oak casks and ex-bourbon casks.
