The New World Whisky Distillery (Starward) is produced in Melbourne, Australia; the food capital of Australia. You won't find this distillery in the outback terrain but rather, you will find the New World Whisky Distillery in the city amongst the foodies and enthusiasts of Victoria. Unique to this distillery, their mission is to produce whiskies which are welcomed and enjoyed around the dinner table where memories are made. The famous Starward Solera single malt is made with 100% Australian barley.

It is then matured in re-coopered and re-sized Apera (an Australian fortified wine), similar to Spanish sherry casks. This expression has found Silver at the 2019 International Spirits Challenge. Alongside Solera is Nova which is matured in casks that have previously held Australian wine such as Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet, all sourced from wineries. This expression has also claimed Silver at the International Spirits Challenge in 2019.
