From the world-renowned and currently wildly popular Japanese whisky distiller Suntory comes the Hakushu Distiller's Reserve, the no-age statement bottling of this unique smoky Japanese single malt.
It was created by Keizo Saji, Suntory’s second master distiller and has been distilled in Suntory’s mountain forest distillery located at the foot of Mt. Kaikomagatake right in the heart of Japan.
It has the flavours of the mountains packed in their too with the crisp mountain waters and herbaceous greenery all mixing in with a gentle smokiness.
This is a dram could just as easily have been distilled in the highlands of Scotland. Yet it is uniquely Japanese and all the better for it. Fresh, light, and easy-to-drink, yet one which offers something different with every sip.
